With over 20 years experience in criminal trial and appellate work and civil litigation in federal, state and municipal courts, I offer aggressive representation, legal excellence and integrity.

Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Criminal Trial Attorney, I have defended complex charges of fraud, bribery of public officials, criminal enterprises (RICO), conspiracies and murder.

Additionally, I have represented targets of complex investigations involving grand jury subpoenas, document production, federal and state task forces, wiretaps and informants.

As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in Newark, NJ and as a former Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, I gained substantial insight into what prosecutors look for and what they worry about in their cases. This experience has been invaluable in preparing defenses for trial and in negotiating plea agreements favorable to clients.

Recent Criminal Cases:

Acquittal for client at trial in federal court of international drug conspiracy charges. All other defendants were convicted.
Reversal on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals. Client released from 11-year sentence. All charges were dismissed.
Acquittal at trial for client charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of a police officer.

Recent Civil Cases:

Favorable result for major New Jersey law firm charged with fraud.
Favorable result for a businessman sued for sexual harassment and charged with criminal assault.
Favorable result for a union local charged with creating a hostile work environment.
